🥋 Red Switch Vs Yellow Switch

Special thanks to Banggood for sending their Gamakay k66 for review. This keyboard is packed with awesome features including a Hot swappable Gateron esports The CHERRY MX Speed Silver is the fastest model of the CHERRY MX switch family in full height. Due to the linear switching characteristics combined with the low spring resistance, the silver switch triggers directly. When milliseconds decide whether you win or lose, the CHERRY MX Speed Silver is your guarantee for a successful gaming session.
The linear switch by Durock has been recolored as the Alpaca V2 switch. These switches have 62g gold-plated springs and are smooth linear switches. Alpaca V2 switch has pink stems inspired by Minterly's SA Bliss. Durock uses nylon housing for the bottom switches and using polycarbonate for the top ones.
MX Brown and Red Keyswitch: Head to Head. The main difference between Cherry MX Red and Brown is, MX Red features a linear switch that’s great for fast-paced games, while MX Browns are more stable. There’s very little to suggest one switch is better than the other. However, there are some details in a head-to-head comparison that are worth
Hey guys! I got a huntsman with (red) linear optical switches. I really love the keyboard but the switches are very light and it's so easy to actuate them that I constantly do typos. I am thinking of returning it and getting the one with purple clicky switches as they take bit more force to actuate and have a longer actuation distance, but I've
The Gateron Black is the heavyweight champ, requiring 60gf of force, giving it a more substantial feel and sound. Some users prefer this, finding satisfaction in each deliberate keystroke. On the other hand, Gateron Yellow is the lightweight contender, with a 50gf actuation force, making it smoother and quieter to type on.

On my tester, i only have these other silent switches for comparison. Gateron silent red x1 and brown x1, Sakurios x2 and these Outemu x10 silents. Outemu silents definitely have shorter travel than the other 2, the Gateron silents and Sakurios seems to have the full travel of a regular switch. OP seems to use O-rings, so he is highly used to that.

Additionally, the switch requires only 45 grams of force to actuate, which is super convenient for nimble gamers who require swift actions, without any delays. Whenever you are in the market to buy a gaming keyboard, the most common switch type you will see is Cherry MX Red, with most keyboards available exclusively in the Red switch type. I had the yellow switches and frankly the green aren't much louder once you're typing quickly anyway. The yellow can get loud too with high speed typing. For me I was getting too many false keystrokes on the yellow they were way too sensitive so I had to go with green. Wife told me yellows were still not silent really anyway so take the better

Gateron has teamed up with Keychron to bring you an exclusive Phantom switch. These switches are engineered with ink material covers and a Pom stem to deliver a premium smooth and tactile typing experience. Available in red, blue, brown, and yellow, these custom switches will elevate any keyboard.

neste vídeo eu vou fazer minha comparação deste dois teclados 60% que para mim são umas das melhores opções do mercado atualmente por oferecer muita coisa bo
In this video, I compared Gateron yellow switches to the gateron red switches in a typing test/sound ASMR style. Which switches do you prefer?Affiliate links
From what i could tell Gateron Yellow has consistent resistance from top to bottom where as Gateron Black has more resistance towards bottoming out. I was able to confirm this by doing a blind test where I mix in a Gateron Yellow with 5 Gateron Blacks and was able to pick out the Yellow correctly with my eyes closed multiple times. My question:

The Red switches are very light (1mm actuation / 40g force) so it takes some time to get used to. My favorite for typing is probably the Blackwidow Ultimate 2012. The Razer Greens provide a nice tactile bump, and require 50g of force giving it more of that type writer feel. They are very loud however. .
